Capital murder, attempted murder, rapes and indecent behavior with juveniles were crimes in true bills returned by the Caddo Parish Grand Jury Wednesday, June 13, 2018.
Johnathan Tremaine Robinson, 36, of Shreveport, is charged with first-degree murder and seven counts of attempted first-degree murder in connection with the April 12, 2018, slaying of Rannita Williams, and a subsequent standoff with Shreveport police at her home on Natalie Street. The District Attorney soon will decide whether the death penalty will be sought against Robinson.
Kenmorria Denard Kendrick, 23, of Shreveport, is charged with second-degree murder in connection with the April 8, 2018 slaying of Jonathan Deion Roberson, 26, of Shreveport, who was shot in the 7100 block of Brandtway Street. He faces a mandatory life sentence if convicted as charged.
An indictment under seal charges Eric Jerad Holden, Sr., 41, of Shreveport, with first-degree rape and indecent behavior with juveniles. His bond is currently set at $305,000. The District Attorney requests people with additional information about Holden to contact the Shreveport Police Department.
The Grand Jury no-billed Shreveport Police Sgt. Kevin Anderson, who shot and killed Brandon Busher, 38, in late April following an altercation in the Red River District during which Busher attempted to disarm Anderson, who was uniformed. Anderson, hired by SPD in 1994, received minor injuries in the attack and was placed on paid departmental leave by Chief Alan Crump.
