A man shot and mortally wounded on Blom Boulevard in southwest Shreveport Sunday, June 2, 2019, has been named by the Caddo Parish Coroner’s office.
Rachard Jonathan Alexander Gross, 25, of Melba Street in Shreveport, was shot multiple times in the incident that occurred at about 3:30 p.m. in the 9100 block of Blom Boulevard. He was transported to Ochsner LSU Health hospital where he died at 4:08 p.m.
Gross was positively identified through fingerprint comparison and by his parents at the hospital.
An autopsy has been authorized at Ochsner LSU Health.
