The Caddo Parish Grand Jury returned three indictments against four Shreveport men Tuesday, November 19, 2019, charging them with murder and attempted murder.

One indictment names three of the men in connection with the September 1, 2019, slaying of Sherman Rambo Jr. Rambo, 42, was killed by crossfire during a shootout on East Stoner Avenue. Charged with second-degree murder in connection with his death are Jacody Demetrius Wilson, 24; Cortez De’Shun Hines, 27; and Carl Wayne McClinton Jr., 18.

Wilson and Hines are charged with attempted second-degree murder in a second indictment in connection with the related shooting of Shaquille Bradford on that same date.

The third indictment charges Ricky DeWayne Wafer, 33, with second-degree murder in connection with the September 18, 2019, slaying of Princess Cooper. Cooper, 25, was shot several times in a vacant lot in the 400 block of Egan Street.
