The Caddo Parish District Attorney’s office continues to shine the spotlight on Domestic Violence with activities to bring awareness to the issue.
On Saturday, October 19, the Caddo Parish District Attorney’s office will host its 3rd Annual “Kick Against Domestic Violence” kickball tournament at Bill Cockrell Park, 4109 Pines Road from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The DA’s office has partnered with Shreveport Community Renewal Friendship Houses, the Shreveport Police Department, the Shreveport Fire Department, the Shreveport City Marshal’s office and the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s office. Each agency will sponsor children from their assigned Friendship House for the tournament.
The public is invited to spend a fun-filled day at the park. This activity is free and open to the public. Food vendors will also be on site. Kickoff time is at 10 a.m.
